Clodagh and Ryan came from Ireland to get married at La Centenària 1779, a historic estate in Gavà, just outside Barcelona, surrounded by gardens and old trees. Planned by Pearls & Sandals, their wedding was elegant, warm and full of laughter — from a champagne toast on a balcony overlooking the sea to a surprise McDonald's delivery at midnight.

It was one of those days where everyone was simply having a great time, and it shows in every frame.

The morning

The day began with the stationery and details, slow make-up by the window and Clodagh popping champagne on a balcony with the Mediterranean behind her, while her bridesmaids laughed in their robes. Across the way, Ryan was getting ready with his groomsmen.

First look

Clodagh and Ryan saw each other for the first time in the gardens of La Centenària 1779. Ryan's reaction is one of my favourite moments of the whole season.

A garden ceremony with parasols

The bridesmaids, in soft pastel tones, carried white parasols against the Spanish sun. Clodagh walked down the aisle to a ceremony in the garden, followed by the rings, the kiss and a shower of petals.

Dinner under the trees

Guests were welcomed to dinner with thoughtful details — custom napkins, wine and fruit on the tables — and a grand entrance before a long, happy dinner under the trees.

The party (and the McDonald's)

Then came the first dance and a party that didn't stop. Around midnight, a McDonald's delivery arrived as the late-night snack, and Clodagh and Ryan danced with their fries like it was the best idea anyone ever had. It probably was.

Clodagh and Ryan, thank you for such a fun day. If you're planning a wedding near Barcelona, I'd love to hear from you.
